About the Speaker
Ian Williamson specializes in the recruitment, development, and retention of staff, particularly of knowledge workers (including executives, IT workers, consultants, lawyers and marketers). He teaches the Managing People for High Performance subject in the Master of Marketing program both in Australia and Beijing. A highly regarded researcher in the area of human resource practices, his articles have been published in leading journals. He has also received a special international award for his research examining the top management team (TMT) selection decisions of Fortune 500 firms. Professor Williamson currently serves on the editorial board of the top-tier academic journal Academy of Management Review and is also a Research Fellow of the Intellectual Property Research Institute of Australia (IPRIA). |
